Unblock a Website in Securly Classroom

PreSetup Option 1: Pre-Schedule Unblock using Securly Web Links

1. Visit Securly Classroom
2. On the left hand sidebar, click Web Links
3. Click 'Add Web Links", and fill the 'New Site' fields as follows:
   • Name: Give the Site a Name that makes sense, i.e. Google Site for The Outsiders Book
   • Site: Enter the website address, i.e. https://sites.google.com/view/escape-room-the-outsiders/
   • Description: Optional details,
   • Dependences: Rare setting for when you need an additional site to load to let this site load, i.e. adsense.google.com
4. Click Add. Now you can add it to your Class, the site will be allowed.

Use Option 1: Push Presetup Web Links to your Class Session

1. Start & Access Your Securly Class Session
2. Click Push URL from the top bar
3. Check the box next to the WebLink you created
4. Click Push URL

Option 2: Push URL from Active Class Session

1. Visit Securly Classroom
2. Start & Access Your Securly Class Session
3. Click Push URL from the top bar
4. Click Manual Entry, fill the fields as follows:
   • URL: Add the website address: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=chesskid.adventure&hl=en_US&gl=US
   • Description: Explain what this is used for, i.e. Download Link for Chess Kid Adventure
5. Click Push URL button, the site will be sent to the class.

PreSetup Option 3: Blocking Plans

1. Visit Securly Classroom
2. Click Blocking Plans from the left side
3. Click Add Blocking Plan near the top, and fill the fields as follows:
   • Plan Name: Name the Plan according to its use case, i.e. American History Websites
   • Description: Longer field for more information, i.e. Unblock Google Site and Links to App Downloads
   • Make Public: If this would benefit other teachers, toggle 'Make public' and others in the domain can select this Blocking Plan.
4. Click Add sites to block or allow.
5. Click Allow only.
6. Click Manual
7. Enter the URL: separate each site by a comma or hit enter to go to a new line
8. Click Add
9. Click Save. You can now set this to your classes.

Use Option 3: Add Blocking Plans to Classes
3A. Use 3A before Class or 3B during an active class session:

1. Visit Securly Classroom
2. Click Classes from the left side
3. Click the triple dots in the top right of the class your want to assign the blocking plan
4. Click Class Settings
5. For the 'Blocking plan', click the (+) and click your premade blocking plan
6. After selecting the plan, click Select.
7. Click Save. This class will be locked to that list of sites until you change this setting.

3B. If session has started....

1. From within the class session view where you see all the screens, click the gear (Session options) in the top right.
2. Under Blocking plan, click the (+) and click your premade blocking plan.
3. Click Select
4. Click Save. This will only lock the class to your block/allow plan for this class session. To keep this list with this class, use 3A.
